Learners have the choice of which organisation they are enrolled with. That organisation will report the results to NZQA to be recorded on learners’ New Zealand Record of Achievement (NZROA).

Prepare and sling complex loads for crane operators

Sling regular loads and communicate during crane operations

Use a radio remote or pendant controlled crane to lift and place regular loads

Use a truck loader crane to lift and place regular loads

Operate a cab controlled overhead crane

Demonstrate knowledge of the self supervision requirements for overweight vehicles crossing bridges

Demonstrate and apply knowledge of slinging regular loads safely

Assess the worksite, prepare, and operate a trailer-mounted elevating work platform (EWP)
